Huts

Nestled in a grove of old-growth Hemlocks at the base of Tam McArthur Rim are two 20’ yurts and a wood fired sauna. Our wood-heated yurts are beautifully handcrafted by skiers, for skiers. New for this season, both the Owl and Raven yurts have a full kitchens, dining & lounge areas and each Yurt has six bunks.

Our huts are ideally located for ski touring. Guests have access to 280,000 snow covered acres in the Three Sisters Wilderness. In the immediate vicinity of the hut, Tam McArthur Rim rises 1500 feet and stretches 2 miles with an incredible variety of terrain including open bowls, treed glades, couloirs, gentle meadows, and steep chutes.

Beyond Tam McArthur Rim, the wilderness stretches over spectacular ridges, glades, lakes and buttes leading to the 9-10,000 ft peaks of Broken Top, South, Middle, and North Sister. The mountains and the surrounding terrain offer limitless tours and lines for all levels of ability.

Our guides offer decades of experience and local knowledge. Familiarity with the terrain and snowpack allow our guides to safely take you directly to the best stashes and sweetest lines.

Your backcountry hut-based skiing adventures can be self-guided and self-catered or you can choose fully guided and/or catered vacation.

Catered trips offer a variety of healthy and delicious hot meals for breakfast and dinner. Lunch items are provided, grab-bag style including fruit, energy bars, sandwiches and snacks. You can also request a keg to be packed into the yurt from our fabulous local brewery.

The huts are located 6 snow-covered miles and 1000 feet above the Three Creeks Sno-park. Check the map.
